This is my go-to male basemesh for my professional character work which I've carefully developed over the years to have the best topology for intuitively retaining all the landmarks of the human body even after sculpting / subdividing / deforming.

-Organic topology flow that follows the landmarks of the body for the best, hassle-free, anatomically correct workflow.

Note that this type of mesh doesn't have easily selectable polyloops in most areas, but is generally preferred for sculpting, and absolutely loved by any character animators I've worked with.
